Articles in Magazines

From time to time (and often with the help of friends) I am writing articles for magazines and other publications in addition to my books. Not all of them are “desert-related”…after a certain “quarantaine” to avoid obstructing the sales of these magazines I am presenting them here in a low resolution for the interested reader.

The Desert Ghost

The article is about the LRDG-Truck in the Sandsea in Egypt. It is a “remake” of my first article back in 2011 – but including all information found in the time being…amongst them stunning photos of the first discovery back in the 1970ies.

Just for fun I am also the editor of the quarterly club magazine of the “Commemorative air Force – Swiss Wing”. It is a 16 to 20 pages magazine, naturally reporting the club's activities but the main content is on other aviation-topics. The main “difficulty” is to bring articles which have not yet been published in the various “big magazines”
